Finding Peace in that Moment...

We have all adjusted to the added effort it takes to do life now, in the world of masks, distancing, waiting in lines, learning online platforms, etc. One adjustment I have made is mountain biking in the winter. I have entered a world of fatter tires, extra layers, and accepting the extra effort that comes with winter riding.

On one recent ride, shortly after sunrise, I began my ascent and began to question my sanity. Then I looked up and saw the deer. They were peacefully eating their breakfast as I approached. They acknowledged me, and then they invited me into their space. All of the extra effort faded in the peace of that moment. And I was so grateful.

I feel a similar peace when you invite me into your space. In the extra effort it takes to set up and get to class, there is a moment. That moment when we are together sharing space with one another. And I am so grateful.

If you are able, please join me Sunday, February 14th, at 10am for the Free XOXO Mat Class.

Thank you for sharing your space,

- Cathy

Generosity at its best...

I am touched by the generosity of everyone who participated in this past donation week. Together, we raised $550 for Crossroads Safehouse...
